A Guide to Hybrid Events from CRIPtic Arts

07 July 2022

CRIPtic Arts, an arts hub for D/deaf and disabled artists, has published a guide to hybrid events in response to many organisations returning to in-person programming.

With a return to full in-person events, many organisations are moving away from Zoom and reopening their doors to audiences. In response to this, CRIPtic Arts raises the point that without hybrid events organisations could be excluding a large group of attendees. Including individuals who are more likely to be geographically dispersed, more likely to be disabled, be poorer, have caring responsibilities.

CRIPtic Arts have three guides to hybrid events to support arts organisations in keeping their doors open to all audiences, digitally and in person. You can read more from CRIPtic Arts on the importance of hybrid events here.

CRIPtic Arts is led Artistic Director Jamie Hale, who is a Jerwood Compton Poetry Fellow 2021 – 2022.
