Alba Colomo

Alba’s recent practice and has been focused on the intersections between institutionalities, agroecology and ecofeminism.

Situating urgent concerns of slowness and biodiversity at the core of her practice, Alba would like to explore the existing and potential connections between permaculture and biodynamic farming with art institutions, focusing on how to generate a holistic approach towards a biodiverse sustainable environment where she can think with others in order to make decisions, constantly observing and analysing the systems around us.

The Jerwood Bursary will support her in gaining field experience and help to transition from theoretical research into her own curatorial practice, which now feels more urgent than ever.
