Guy Schofield

Guy Schofield’s practice involves installation, film, sound, music, physical computing, VR, animation and games.

He has developed and presented digital artworks, technology demonstrations and practical workshops at conferences, festivals and exhibitions in the UK, Europe, USA, South Africa and Asia. Guy is deeply committed to collaborative and participatory co-creation and has been involved in numerous projects exploring how to engage people in making intricate and complex digital installations. A major theme in his work is the connection between spaces and texts, especially in interactive media.

Guy is currently mainly working with VR and game engine technologies, developing procedural ‘films’ in which content, cinematography and narrative are determined by interactive systems in real time. He is also currently involved in a number of research projects exploring climate change through digital art.
