Kasia Cichocka graduated in Theatre Arts from the University of Derby in July 2023. During university she was involved in the Musical Theatre society as a performing member and secretary, and in the Dance Society as a member of the hip-hop competition team.
In 3rd year, Kasia was part of a devising group that created an original show with music and dance, The F Word, and performed at the Derby Theatre Studio in May to a sold-out audience. Kasia was mostly involved in theatre-making, writing, and choreography, but after the show decided she wanted to focus more on producing. Kasia recently completed a series of masterclasses in producing and fundraising with Facciocose Theatre and took part in the R&D phase with Mind Out Theatre as a creative mentee for their upcoming production of Purdah.
In the future, Kasia hopes to establish a small theatre company and work on devised projects with music and dance and, as a migrant, focus on highlighting the experiences of queer and international communities.
