Tian Brown-Sampson

Tian Brown-Sampson is a British-Caribbean theatre director, producer, movement director, writer, facilitator and translator.

Her focus lays mainly within Black, East and South East Asian (ESEA) and South Asian theatre work, new writing and promoting diversity, representation and accessibility on and off stage and in positions of power and leadership.

Tian is now working at the Young Vic as a Jerwood Assistant Director on Further than the Furthest Thing written by Zinnie Harris and directed by Jennifer Tang. Assistantships and Traineeships are a key part of the Young Vic’s Jerwood Artist Development Pathway. This Pathway is generously support by Jerwood Developing Artists Fund.
