In Conversation: Cinzia Mutigli and Alia Syed

04 Nov 2021

7-8pm

Jerwood Space, 171 Union Street , London, SE1 0LN

Cinzia Mutigli discusses her moving-image installation for Survey II, I’ve Danced at Parties with artist Alia Syed.

I’ve Danced at Parties is a moving-image installation that ruminates on the role of rehearsal in both performance and everyday life. Comprising a film and printed wallpaper, the work connects the obsessive repetition of actions to our inability to create spontaneous connections and counter social anxiety.
