Susie Green discusses her Jerwood Solo Presentations commission with Philomena Epps.

The School House, Jerwood Space’s onsite café and restaurant, and the Jerwood Solo Presentations exhibition, will both be open before the event (5-7pm). This is an opportunity to see Susie Green, Georgia Horgan and Rob Crosse’s new commissions and to use the café facilities before the event starts at 7pm.

Philomena Epps is an independent writer and art critic based in London. Her writing has appeared in Apollo, ArtForum, Art Agenda, Elephant, Frieze, i-D, MAP, and The White Review, among others. She has written catalogue and exhibition texts for artists, including Frances Scott, Susie Green, and Rachel Goodyear, and for institutions, such as the Tate. She was the Writer in Residence at Jerwood Visual Arts from May–August 2016. Philomena is the founding editor and publisher of Orlando, a print magazine and online platform, and has hosted multiple public events related to the publication, including film screenings, performances, readings, and workshops. www.philomenaepps.co.uk
