The award, which celebrated its fiftieth year in 2015, is supported by the Musicians’ Company, and is one of Glyndebourne’s most prestigious awards.Previous winners include Jerwood Young Artist James Newby, Ryland Davies, Richard Van Allan, Alfie Boe and Kate Royal.
Thomas, 23, is a member of the Glyndebourne Chorus as a Jerwood Young Artist, and won the 2018 Kathleen Ferrier Award.
