Seven new commissions by early career makers, including Gary Breeze, Sara Brennan, Lin Cheung, Drummond Masterton, Deirdre Nelson, Nicholas Rena and Clare Twomey.

The seven artists were selected by an independent panel comprising: ceramicist, writer and curator Edmund de Waal (chair); craft and design critic Love Jönsson; and Amanda Game, Lead Director of IC:Innovative Craft, Edinburgh and former Director of Crafts at The Scottish Gallery, Edinburgh.

Jerwood Contemporary Makers ran from 2008-2010 and was initiated to encourage new and stimulating ways of showing work across a range of craft disciplines and to support emerging talent. Jerwood Charitable Foundation channelled a total of £328,005 through the programme.
