This page was made some time ago and may contain information which is now out of date

A group exhibition of works by Claire Barclay, Claire Bayliss, Carolyn Bunt, Dorothy Cross, Michael Fullerton, Janne Malmros and Scott Myles, curated by Gill Saunders, Senior Curator of Prints, V&A, and John Mackechnie, artist and Director, Glasgow Print Studio. The exhibition embraces innovations afforded by both digital technologies and traditional print media at a time when printmaking is attracting considerable attention, offering a welcome platform to show new works which incorporate print in original and unconventional ways. Print, which now enlists strategies from photography and film, architecture and sculpture, painting and performance, is continually shape-shifting.

Jerwood Encounters are one-off curated exhibitions which provide artists and curators with new exhibition opportunities and the chance to explore issues and territories in the borderlands between the main disciplinary fields of the Jerwood Visual Arts programme. They were first established in 2009.
