Angharad Williams

Angharad Williams is an artist and writer from Ynys Môn, Wales. Recent group and solo projects have taken place at Haus Zur Liebe, Schaffhausen; Liszt, Berlin; Barbara Weiss, Berlin; Croy Nielsen, Vienna; No Bounds Festival, Sheffield; Peak, London and Radiophrenia, CCA, Glasgow.

Angharad’s multi-disciplinary practice is recently concerned with themes of incarceration, the countryside, sight and what it amounts to, artistic provocation and the destruction of the self.

Angharad's Jerwood Bursary will enable the artist to initiate bespoke technical training in film-making, whilst simultaneously undertaking professional mentoring in script writing and video production. Angharad’s focus will be on developing new works based on an adapted text written by the artist in 2018.
