Live artists and producers Kate Spence and Aleks Wojtulewicz were recipients of a Fierce FWD micro Bursary offered by Fierce Festival in 2014, which we supported. They used the micro bursary to leverage further funding from Arts Council England in order to develop a temporary performance space in Birmingham. A roadshow of emerging live art talent from the West Midlands

This page was made some time ago and may contain information which is now out of date

Now, in the next incarnation of the company, they have developed a roadshow of emerging live art talent from the West Midlands, starting in Birmingham and touring to Little Wolf Parade (Nottingham), Live Art Bistro (Leeds) and Steakhouse Live (London). With our support, along with funding from Arts Council England, the evenings of new small performances will include work by six artists.

The project will also offer the artists mentoring and professional development throughout the period of the roadshow, and will serve to further establish Home for Waifs and Strays as important organisers and facilitators in the Live Art community.
