Jen Smethurst

Jen Smethurst is a Trans, Queer, Neurodiverse Independent Practices of Care Consultant and arts worker.

Their background is in theatre and live art producing. They worked as an independent artist producer until they burnt out some time in 2017. Since then, they have reframed their work around building working models that focus on the sustainable wellbeing of the people involved, rather than churning out the product.

Throughout 2021 Jen will be researching existing intersectional care practices and collectives, developing their consultancy practice and generating Care Practice resources in accessible formats.
