I was appointed Chair of the Jerwood Arts finance committee in the summer of 2021. Together with the management team and the appointed investment advisers, the committee oversees the financial management of Jerwood Arts.
I am an investment professional of 34 years standing with specific expertise in managing high net worth private clients, charities and trusts. I am currently a consultant at RBC Brewin Dolphin, having worked at the company for most of my career, during which time I was a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI). Also, I remain a trustee of the two RBC Brewin Dolphin pension schemes.
My work for Jerwood Arts is complemented by my roles as Trustee of the Queen Mary Roehampton Trust and adviser to the Finance Committee of the Royal College of Gynaecologists.
I am a keen supporter of the creative sector, particularly contemporary British art and theatre. Originally from Cumbria, I now split my time between London and Kent coast , where I enjoy cycling and walking my two dogs.
