Our support is for Terrestrial’s first programme sited in Weston-Super-Mare and will go towards the commissioning of five artists/companies to develop new works in Weston-Super-mare over a 12-month period, with a bespoke artist development programme attached.

Terrestrial is a new socially engaged arts commissioning and producing organisation, working across the Avon region (North Somerset, Bath & NE Somerset, South Gloucestershire and Bristol). Each year, the company intends to work with local partners to embed a group of innovative artists and companies into a single town within the region, producing a festival of the new work created with projects spanning music, theatre, dance, circus and more emerging across the town.
