Max Percy

Max Percy is an award-winning theatre maker and facilitator creating ambitious theatrical experiences.

A regular collaborator across various forms including dance, theatre, academia, technology and accessibility, Max’s work explores queer and asian identity whilst experimenting with new forms. Recent work includes Baklá (Fleabag ‘Keep it Fringe’ Fund Winner 2023), This is Not a Show about Hong Kong (Underbelly & New Diorama’s Untapped Award Winner & The Scotsman’s Fringe First Winner 2022).

His research titled “Investigation into Haptic Technology and Motion Capture to Make Dance More Accessible for the Blind and Visually Impaired” was commissioned by East London Dance and the London College of Fashion with support from Sadler’s Wells and Deloitte Digital, and was presented and published by the International Conference of Movement and Computing, Chicago 2022. He trained at the London Russian Ballet School and East 15 Acting School.
